I never know, nor realize, strong academic background and record of serving the community can count against you during job hunting.

Wow, that's really something new to me. I could understand managers looking for more capable person, but will any candidate be 'too capable' or 'too good' for a job? What are they thinking?

Reply to Kennon, I'm lucky that I've 'ONLY' waited for 18 days now.... but on a different circumstances, I'm just waiting for a green light to the Final interview board, where 50% of applicants will still be turned down..... Headache.

Finally have the experience that I'm exerted myself too much to a stage I can barely stand or get up from my bed... I'll make all these sacrifices worthwhile.
