Movies that i like.

Life continues pretty much the same way. Found myself to have some autism traits.... more appropiately, I should say I've locked up myself from the outside world lately..... such times must be treasured (as i can forsee once i get back to work such life will be a dream and luxary for me)..... doing nothing but some reading and movies are excellent.

Had a thought yesterday, it took me around 5 years to be a dentist, but how long if I'm going forget all that i have learnt? I dont have an exact time but I'm pretty sure i've forgotten half of my dental knowledge already, in only 2 months..... i dont see it too negatively, maybe it's blessing in disguise..... if i'm to devote myself in this field again I'm sure I'll learn it and learn it well (given the fact that i'm not a diligent student at my university life)..... sounds like a second chance for me.

Okay, back to the topic. I've seen some excellent movies over the last week, Namely, "Memento" by Christopher Nolan (his other work includes, Insomnia, Dark Knights and Se7en, which i love the most).... a small budget production with an outstanding plot..... at first i feel it's kind of weird as the whole film seems very segmented (however, all made sense once you grab the whole plot.... pretty much like his other work, such as "The Prestige") The main character is a real psycho.... you'll agree once you watch the film.

Second movie was "Spanglish" which starred Adam Sandler in a non-comedy role. This film has failed to be nominated for any oscar awards in 2004 (That year the Oscar's best pictures goes to another of my favourite "Million Dollar Baby" and nominees include "The Avaitor", "Finding Neverland", "Ray", and "Sideways") I truely believe this film is superior than Ray or Sideways in terms of novelty or entertainment, it's really a shame such good work is being neglected and failed its deserved recognition. This film depicted realism in the issues such as cultural difference and family problems in an otherwise ordinary American family. My recommendation. (PS. Adam Sandler is also very good in his role in "Reign over me", which's another non comedy attempt by him)

Last movie was "Yes man" by Jim Carrey, Jim reverted to his usual role as a comedian after an unsuccessful spell in other roles (eg. number 23, A series of unfortunate events etc) (PS2. He's got his moment in drama films early in this decade, for example, Man on the Moon and The Majestic, which are great performances from him).... The usual Jim Carrey performance, only this time, with a meaning. If there is a need of reason between every Yes and No answers? You'll learn once you watch this.

Okay, this much writing for today, but that doesnt mean my last movie.... gonna watch "Eagle Eye" by Shia LeBeouf, as recommended by my buddy alvin. If it's of any good, I'll certainly let you know.
