Done Gym today.... muscle pain as hell, especially the abs... but no pain, no gain.....
Watched a good movie tonight, "Nim's Island".... I'm so full of admiration to Abigail Breslin, the young girl who also starred at "Little Miss Sunshine", heard of her often in the film critics but it's the first movie that i see her acting.... she's so good at it..... I cant wait to see her other film~

Reunion
Tonight the dinner with my dental groupmate is excellent. I can already picture us 10 or 20 years later~ Same kind of joy~~
Take care my friends~
Take care my friends~
From facebook, 16 things about me.
1. I dont know how to type chinese, if you read my blog, you can see all my entries are in English. This doesnt mean I'm good at English.... only i found learning chinese input too troublesome for me, (BTW, hopefully i will end up with a job that do not require me to know chinese input. Finger crossed!) You'll have to read this note in English, ha ha~
2. I love to 'watch' Sports programme, no particular interest in what kind of sports, as long as ESPN is on and i can stare at the TV for hours. (Just remember one little joke i heard earlier, A Husband will never know he's divorced, not until a notice is put on ESPN ^^) I'm a die-hard liverpool fans and the sight of Christano Ronaldo make me sick >.< I love sports too but is not very good at it. Sports that require rackets to play (tennis, table tennis and badminton) are disastrous.... i will either hurt myself or my partner when playing them.
3. I am crazy about cats, you'll agree when you see me stopping in the middle of the street and playing and patting with the stray cats. I hate Spider very much, the hairs on them and their long legs just freak me out.
4. I hate cold weathers, i once thought i'm a cold-blooded animal cause i feel leathergy when temperature falls below 12C. The winter in Hong Kong is even harder than the one in Canada, at least they have heating in their house, while i have to shiver in my bed now >.< Hope summer comes early~
5. I hate to admit this, but i am always late for meetings or dates... sometimes it's real urgency, but sometimes it's for no reason..... I hope i can get rid of this trait soon.
6. There are 3 things that i cant live without. Movies, Music and Books. I have guess-timated that every month more than 20% of expenses are spent on these items. Currently my favourite music is by Robbie Williams, Queen and Mika, favourite movies: The Gladatior, Love Actually and Fight Club, Favourite books... Harry Potter, Dan Brown's and Jin Yung's.
7. By the time I enrolled into primary school, I cant recite the 26 English alphabets, I use to think there are only 25. Up till this day, i still consider myself lucky to have got in La Salle Primary School, without the education there, i will never have such interesting friends around me and my path shall be totally different. Everytime when I'm in bad luck i will remind myself the best has already been given to me, what more am i expecting?
8. I'm a record-setter for most of the 'infamous' record during school time. I have only attended half of my kindergarten because of sickness all the time. I also skive classes (a lot), I am a strong believer that if I am not going to learn in class, i'd better be spending the time more wisely, say sleeping (to rejuvenate myself) or playing (to get some joy and satisfaction). 50% of my grade 12 classes were skived because of different school functions and their prepartions, 60% of my grade 13 classes were skipped for preparation of the Public exams. If I am not mistaken, I'm the only one in school history to finish a 3 hour Chemistry paper within 2 hours (only finishing the MC questions and leave the long questions blank) and still get an pass. University life is no better....
9. I have no religion believe. Not an atheist cause i do believe in the existence of a higher power. However, I'm not comfortable with what the church (Catholic/Christian) is saying or doing, but i will read the Bible. I'm netual towards Buddism, Muslim, Hindu, Taoist or Sciencetology, in fact, i have learned a bit of philosophy from each of them, Still, none of them can convince me to 'believe' in a religion.
10. I love cooking. Once i taste a cusine, given enough time for me to practice, i can replicate the cusine and add a bit of twist/excitement to the favour~ But i can only cook those i like to eat... so the choice is pretty limited.
11. I was dubbed by my friend as "Mr. Nice Guy" cause i dont have much temper and is easy to talk with.... well i feel both good and bad with this title.... i will try my best to avoid confrontations, especially among friends cause the outcome of any confrontations is always unfavourable. On the other hand, I'm being nice because i just dont know how to express my anger and rage, i do get pissed sometimes.... just without a proper way to show you.... what a dilemma~
12. Quite countrary of what the public view of me (or was it due to my looks? The Player?), I do believe in monogamous marriage. I might not be a romantic boyfriend who give surprises everyday, I feel myself a more than qualified good husband. Believe it or not.
13. I feel 'Being Second Best' is nothing more than a pharse for losers. Come on, be realistic, do you remember who won the Olyampic Silver or the Runners-up of last world cup? This is the exact reason why i want to leave dentistry. I know that i can be a good dentist, but not a great one (too much school-skiving maybe...) I am sure if I'm given a second chance at another career i will not let chances slip.
14.My career ambition is to start a Non-profit Organization for the dental needs of the poor and underprivilaged. People seems to have neglected the importance of dental health to the quality of life. (Simply put, a Medicine-San-Frontiers in dental sense)
15. I have decided to cut my alcohol consumption... clearly i feel old, if i dont excerise some self-control, i might die at a young age... sorry friends, but at most 1 pint of beer aftermeal~
16. Finally, the last one.... if you are still reading this, and have not been bored to death, you are my treasured friend~ Do write me back.

Under the influence
Sign that you are really loaded up on drug.
I think having dreams must surely be one of them... given that i'm not a dreamy person, last night i've endured a long spell of sleep with the most bizzare dreams possible.
They're all so vivid...
Some said dreams are reflections of one's sub-conciousness.... so can anyone explain to me what it mean when i dreamt of the days when i was in La Salle, another boring school day and the pre-exam anxiety?
Totally confused.

Pretty much the inevitable.
I should have predicted this earlier, with my relatives fallen for flu and the temperature dropping so many degrees..... I have, once again, fallen ill (just like my relatives....)
The only remedy i can think of is lots of vitamin C, paracetamol and sleep.....
Shall write tmr.

Gosh, it's freezing...
Cant believe Hong Kong can be such cold in winter....
I want a vacation in somewhere hot~~~

Another day full of surprises.
Had unexpectedly pick up my dental skill once again, even for a day, as my cousin lost her ortho-retainer and my brother will need one to replace his old one.... got no choice but to take some impression and pour the stone model for them.... well, fortunately i still have the touch of a good dentist.
Later that night I've done a good deed in helping my best mate in his relationship 'mess'.... well, it's always easier when you're an outsider seeing a such complicated matter... My best wishes to you.

G.E.M. - Where Did U Go
She's surely one talented musician. Congrads on the awards and hope you have a great future ^^
Happy New Year and I'm back.
Okay, I'm back. Actually I've been back in Hong Kong for a couple days but mentally I've come back in functional state.
First of all, let me wish all of you a belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
To conclude.... truly I'm not too satisify with my 2008 (only exception being i've graduated... if this is not the start of all my troubles). Just hope 2009 there will be an great improvment.
New Year resolution.... um... let me think.... nothing in particular... just wish myself to work harder in every aspect of my life. I was rather unhappy lately.... for no obvious reason... logically i'm on vacation and i got what i needed, i should be happy.... but in fact... that's not the case. Partly I'll blame on the weather in Hong Kong right now. Everyday is so gloomy and cold (around 12C).... I guess i'm a summer guy.... i'd rather endure the burning sun than cold..... Another big reason is the loneliness that i have... without work, I feel all alone at times.... without something to divert my attention (I've tried.... but even movies and reading non-stop seems all too boring lately...) O gosh... i must be a workaholic....
Quite a lot have happened over the past few weeks and i bet the best way is to let you see it, instead of my sometimes faulty english, here are some of the photos that i took.

What was then, and now.... The upper photo was taken almost 6 years ago... and this year, we've taken another one, with the same posture ^^ It's so much fun taking this pic~
Me at Hoinan Island:

The Beach in Hoinan Island is lovely..... Spent so much time there seeing sunrise and sunset~

Tourist must-do.

These 2 pics are taken when i wait for ferry to cross Victoria harbour, specially taken for my friend in KL. You see, the night view in Hong Kong is really lovely, I hope someday you'll see it with your own eyes~ Waiting for your visit~

Tourist must-do.
It's been so long since our family went for vacation together. This is one lovely pic.
I hope one day i can live at a house with a beach, where i can spent my days there idly.
Thanks to my lovely friends, who took graduation photos with me.

Thanks to my floormates and Jackie who spent Chirstmas and New Year's Eve with me. Jackie, your place is so cozy, i wish i can get my own flat soon~
Had the written exam for Police Inspector today. All went okay, the English topic is on Medical Reform in Hong Kong and Medical Voucher Scheme, while the Chinese topic is the legislation on minimum wage. Well, say i'm cocky, but i'm sure i've written a logical and well-presented article on these 2 tasks. (Especially the English one, given my dental background) Just waiting for the call for the group interview.
Meanwhile, i've joined a gym and will work out much more often.... haha, i might have a six-pack soon if i continue like this.
Had a long conversation with Brother last night..... what he said was probably right.... am i really suited the life in the police force? Is it worthy to give up on what i have right now? But I'll never know if i'm not doing it.... sigh.... so puzzled.
Shall sleep now.... just leave everything behind, life will be more simple this way. Will write more often ^^
